Applications are now open for the 22nd edition of the Fernando Távora Award, an initiative organised by the Northern Regional Section of the Portuguese Architects’ Association (SR-NRT), once again in partnership with Casa da Arquitetura, Matosinhos City Council and the Marques da Silva Foundation, and sponsored by Ageas Seguros.

The city will once again open its doors to architecture on 4 and 5 July 2026, with the 11th edition of Open House Porto. We invite everyone interested to join us this weekend, when architecture will once again be on display in the cities of Maia, Matosinhos, Porto, and Vila Nova de Gaia.

Architecture and the relationship between wine, territory and landscape will take centre stage at the 13th edition of Vinhos de Portugal no Brasil, which takes place from 5 to 7 June at the Jockey Club Brasileiro in Rio de Janeiro. This year, the event is strengthening its cultural dimension with a programme dedicated to architecture and literature, which will feature the participation of Nuno Sampaio, executive director of Casa da Arquitetura.

The 14th edition of the Ibero-American Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism (BIAU) has now opened the call for entries for projects and initiatives that contribute to the reflection on and transformation of contemporary territories.
